RT - PCR as a tool for microbial source tracking in coastal Connecticut (Past)

While working at the Center for Genetic Analyses of Biodiversity, Dr. Lauren Brooks implemented a Microbial Source Tracking protocol across three watersheds in Coastal Connecticut. The protocol uses microbial culturing techniques, RT-PCR and host specific genetic markers to identify sources of bacterial contamination.
